Flight Express Travel in New Westminster is looking for an experienced B2B outside sales rep. We are a Consolidator/Wholesaler in business for 20+ years. We have a pricing and servicing edge over online and our competitors. Part-time position. Lots of learning potential as well as opportunities for discounted personal travel.

Job Description

• Contacting small to medium-sized businesses and leisure clients through personal visits and cold calling.
• Understanding travel agency functioning and explaining merits of our services to businesses.
• Performing admin functions, reporting, and working closely with insides sales personnel.

Required Skills

• Strong work ethic, “Hunter” sales mentality, goal-driven, and self-motivated.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and closing skills.
• Must be outgoing, persistent, and have strong time management skills.
• An entrepreneurial business professional that has demonstrated experience with B2B sales.
• Well-versed at relationship building and pursuing sales opportunities.
• Must be able to work as a contributing member of the team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Prerequisites

• Own vehicle and driver’s license required.
• Post-Secondary courses in Sales and/or Marketing an asset.
• Travel Industry knowledge an asset.

COMPENSATION

Salary plus commission $16- $18/hour; commensurate with experience
